Lots of Walks!

After a grueling two day trip from Savannah to Kentucky we arrived to two more days in hotels waiting for our moving truck to arrive. Luckily, Fort Campbell has tons of playgrounds and places to go strolling. We have also been blessed with much sunshine.

Exploring Skidaway

Since the movers left on Wednesday and their delivery has been delayed, we have been exploring the springtime nature scene here on the island. Yesterday Ben and I saw a dolphin at the marina, there are planty of baby turtles out sunning themselves and lots of new flowers. We will miss this place alot.

On the Move

Our lives are going to crazy over the next two weeks. The movers arrive Monday morning to pack our "household goods" (military jargon has set back in!) and then we will be heading to Ft. Campbell within the following week. Ben is excited to go to "tucky" because he has trains in storage there...he says "Let's go to the yellow house and get MY TRAINS!!!"

Jacksonville Zoo & Amelia Island

We fulfilled our long standing promise to Ben to take him to the beach and a zoo. Though it was a very windy, cool day he still had a great time collecting shells and chasing his mommy and daddy. The zoo was incredible. We were lucky to see the baby jaguar "Chunk" released for the first time since his January birth. He and his mom wrastled around with a parrot pinata.:) Ben says his fav were the flamingos.

Sweet Reunion!

It was amazing to see the tears of joy in Ben's eyes when his daddy came bounding up the sidewalk. Even Sophia recognized him and was all smiles.
