The Zone

Sophia gets into "the zone" when she is watching her favorite show Max & Ruby. She has this internal alarm that seems to know exactly when it should be coming on...oh no!

Sammi

Ben got ahold of the camera today and took his first real pictures of his beloved cat. He also posed his storm trooper and a Cabbage Patch doll but those shots, unfortunately, didn't come out.This boy has a future.;)

Ham

Sophia's favorite book for almost two weeks has been . She brings it to us and announces, "Ham. Read." Even Luis has it memorized now. She likes to call out the words she knows too...goat, boat, mouse, dark, car!! You better REALLY love the books in your child's library 'cause you're bound to read them a thousand times!! :)

Snow Fun!

The promised snow finally arrived and Ben got to make a real snow angel, and to throw a few snowballs at his daddy. :) It started falling yesterday afternoon and by this morning we had a solid 4-5 inches. Sophia joined us in the afternoon and enjoyed the sled ride the most.

Ok, back with some smiles...

Beleieve it or not, neither Ben nor Sophia really ham it up for the camera, so capturing a "real" smile is not an easy task...so here are two for ya'll. :)

Chef Ben

Do you remember the joy of licking the spoon? :) This is Ben's singlemost motive for being a chef today, helping me to make some banana bread and getting to taste it too!
